Completed Milestone Programs
These programs have achieved the set implementations milestones; milestone accomplishments are published here.
Completed Milestone Programs

Certificate of Analysis
This program will focus to create an accepted industry standard with a common vocabulary and structure for transmission of quality data by standardizing the variety of electronic certificate of analysis approaches adopted in the industry today. Ultimately, it enables the delivery of a standardized certificate of analysis information in an automated manner from the supplier to the customers and subsequently, it improves efficiency under a complex supply chain environment by eliminating the current manual handling of this process.

eCustoms Declaration
Customs import/export procedures traditionally have been a manual process in many countries. Usually it is bogged down by many processes.  To facilitate faster movement of goods with enhanced efficiency, there is ample opportunity for improvement through automation and standardization.
Completion Date (eCustoms Singapore & Shanghai): July'07 and August'07

Engineering Information Management
The Engineering Information Management program aims to migrate the exchange of engineering information from a paper to electronic format.
Completion Date: March 2008

Material Composition Milestone Program
The high-tech industry needs to know the material composition of their products to satisfy legislation, drive environmental improvements in design, and be capable of providing information for customers and stakeholders when required.

Material Release
This program's goal validate the Material Release (PIP 4D1) as part of the replenishment use case defined by the RosettaNet Collaborative Forecasting Program.

RosettaNet Automated Enablement (RAE I)
Proposal for RosettaNet offer a scalable and flexible architecture that makes it a viable solution for even the smallest and least technically advanced trading partner.

Semiconductor In-Line Process Data Exchange
Enable foundry and assembly Process partners to deliver summarized Process data to chip designers for data analysis. This does not include actual tool data, but measurement data only from the wafer fab and test assembly.

Semiconductor Test Data Exchange
The program aims to design a standards based process for transmitting Semiconductor test data from manufacturing fabricators (FABS) to foundry customers: Fabless Semiconductor Companies (FSC). The objectives are to improve information flow, data integrity and to reduce the costs, for both the customer and the foundry, of managing the associated business processes that generate and utilize the data.

Shipment Booking and Status
Develop bi-directional communication between shippers, logistics providers and transportation providers in order to send initial pre-booking, acknowledgement, and confirmation of actual booking of shipments, booking cancellation, and shipment status.

Basics & Express
The RosettaNet Basics and Express Programs enabled the affordable adoption of RosettaNet standards for small- to medium-sized companies.

Collaborative Forecasting - Phase 1
The Collaborative Forecasting Program allowed trading partners to improve the match between supply and demand.

Collaborative Forecasting - Phase 2
The Collaborative Forecasting Program will extend the forecasting process capabilities to improve the match between supply and demand.

Design Engineering Information
The Design Engineering Information Program will send technical design information to reduce analysis and selection time and to improve product promotion efficiency.

Design Win - Phase 1
The Design Win program automated registration and approvals to improve the effectiveness of the design win process.

Design Win - Phase 2
The Design Win Program deploys Design Win standards to improve channel efficiency, automate and expedite data collection and sharing.

Direct Ship/3PL
The Direct Ship/3PL Program supports both the outsourced manufacturer shipment and the direct shipment to the customer through a third party logistics (3PL) provider.

Forecasted Inventory Management
The Forecasted Inventory Management Program will improve the stability of inventory supply and reduce shortages and excessive stock.

Global Billing
The Global Billing Milestone Program will validate and add any new, necessary functionality to existing RosettaNet invoicing and payment PIPs® to support global billing.

iHub
The iHub program identified a set of business information needed to improve the match between supply and demand.

Manufacturing WIP - Phase 2
The Manufacturing Work-In-Process (WIP) Program will automate manufacturing factory floor information exchanges to reduce inventories and allow for more flexible operations.

Manufacturing Work Order
The Manufacturing Work Order Program provides the ability to release orders to the factory floor with the supporting manufacturing process information.

Order Management Japan - Advanced
This program continues enhancement activities of the OMJ (2001) and OMJ Extended (2002) programs to further accelerate the adoption of RosettaNet standards in the global supply chain process of electronic components by strong leadership and collaborative resolution by member companies.

Order Management - Phase 2 (SM)
The Order Management Program will extend the purchase order process capabilities and increase implementations by Semiconductor Manufacturing trading partners.

Order Management in Japan - Extended
The Order Management in Japan Program will extend the order process capabilities to increase the supply-chain effectiveness and accelerate RosettaNet standards adoption.

Order Management in Japan - Phase 1
The Order Management in Japan program implemented purchase order processes in Japan-based companies.

Payment
The Payment Program developed a simple payment process to streamline reconciliation of accounts receivable and improve the payment information flow for faster cash. Business and institution benefits will be achieved by this e-business process that has the objectives of reducing processing costs through automating accounts receivable reconciliation and improving the flow of payment information.

Price and Availability
Automate and standardize process for requesting real time price and availability from suppliers (product providers).

Product Catalog Information
The Product Catalog Information program seeks to exchange product information to enable buyers to manage the procurement of a specific item from a seller.

Product Information Exchange
The Product Information Exchange program standardized the access to technical information for all phases of electronic assembly, design and manufacture.

Semiconductor Manufacturing
The Semiconductor Manufacturing Program concentrated on process implementations support Materials Management, Order Management and WIP Management.

Ship from Stock - Phase 1
The Ship from Stock Program developed the total ship from stock and debit/credit process and automated the first part of the business scenario in 2001.

Ship From Stock - Phase 2
The Ship from Stock Program will automate the full business scenario to significantly reduce the number of manual transactions and improve days to payment.

Ship Notice
The Ship Notice Program is automating the advanced ship notice exchange providing early warning and improved cycle time.

Telecommunications Order To Cash (Phase 1)
Applies Order To Cash e-business process model to the telecommunications industry.
