The UCC Solution Partner Program Launches RosettaNet Certification

Certified solution partners help UCC member companies implement RosettaNet e-business process standards

The Uniform Code Council, Inc. ® (UCC ®), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development and implementation of global standards for the improvement of supply and demand chains, announced today that it has launched its UCC Solution Partner Program™ certification in RosettaNet e-business process standards. The new certification program area is designed to provide the RosettaNet community with a resource pool of trained and certified solution partners who can assist with implementation tasks that are compliant to RosettaNet e-business process standards.

RosettaNet is a not-for-profit consortium that develops e-business process standards that facilitate speed, efficiency, and reliability, enabling greater collaboration and improved communication between trading partners. By streamlining the exchange of business information, companies reduce costs while also realizing gains associated with inventory reduction, order processing time, product cycle time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.

The RosettaNet certification program is part of the UCC Solution Partner Program, which increases awareness, adoption, and implementation of UCC standards by facilitating a partnership between the UCC and solution providers to produce standards-compliant, “off-the-shelf” implementation solutions for the expanding UCC community. The RosettaNet certification program area facilitates software compliance testing for RosettaNet’s e-business process standards, RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF), and Partner Interface Processes® (PIPs®). The UCC Solution Partner Program works with partners to certify their products through eBusinessReady®, an industry-neutral software compliance and interoperability testing program under joint partnership of the UCC and Drummond Group Inc. (DGI).

“The newly launched RosettaNet certification answers some of the biggest challenges companies face when searching for a consultant or organization to help implement RosettaNet’s e-business process standards,” said Herman Stiphout, president of RosettaNet. “Now, companies can easily identify solution partners who can assist them in implementing RosettaNet’s Partner Interface Processes. In addition, our valued solution provider community can certify their software products, resulting in greater value for supply chain companies looking to implement RosettaNet-compliant solutions.”

To date, Global eXchange Services (GXS), operator of one of the largest business-to-business e-commerce networks in the world, and Inovis, leading provider of fully integrated B2B solutions and services, has achieved RosettaNet certification through the UCC Solution Partner Program.
