RosettaNet Press Release Luis Perez Adds International Business Expertise to Premier Standards Organization For Release March 30, 2004

Specifically, Perez is responsible for developing new strategic opportunities as RosettaNet expands into new geographies, vertical markets and business sectors, including logistics. Perez is also charged with promoting broader awareness and adoption of RosettaNet standards worldwide, while helping support the acceleration of production implementations across global trading networks.

Perez brings to RosettaNet significant achievements in business development, operations, cycle time reduction and quality improvement from his work with start-ups and turn-around situations in Latin America and Asia Pacific, as well as in domestic Fortune 500 firms. He previously was vice president and managing director of operations in Latin America for American President Lines Logistics Corporation, where he increased annual sales, reorganized company operations, expanded company coverage, implemented new service offerings and increased product availability.
Prior to his tenure with American President Lines, Perez served as director of supply chain and logistics services for Oracle Corp. in Singapore, managing director of operations for Federal Express and industrial engineer for Supermarkets General Corporation.
