Certivo To Provide Software Compliance Badge Testing Services for RosettaNet Ready™ Program
For Release
March 26, 2002
Newport Beach, CA --
Drake Certivo, Inc., a global provider of industry standards education, certification,
compliance, and services, today announced that the company has been selected to provide compliance
testing for solution providers and others within the high technology supply chain as part of the
RosettaNet Ready
TM Program.
Companies seeking to obtain RosettaNet standards compliance can now
subscribe to the testing service and, upon passing the required elements, earn badges for compliant
software solutions.
The compliance testing services administered
through Drake Certivo on behalf of RosettaNet will help to ensure that the software products of a
company are compliant with RosettaNet eBusiness process standards.
Key industry benefits derived from software compliance testing include
consistency in communications and processes between trading partners across multiple industry
platforms, as well as a reduction in the time and costs associated with the deployment of
RosettaNet trading platforms.
In addition, the RosettaNet Ready Software Compliance services
-
powered by Certivo
-
provide an endorsement of quality to help
companies to differentiate their IT solutions within the marketplaces they serve.
The RosettaNet software compliance "badge" represents a level of
public confidence
-
including third-party validation of quality in
products and services
-
often sought after by corporate supply chains.
"This partnership between Drake Certivo, Inc. and RosettaNet will enhance corporate
confidence in compliancy with key IT standards throughout the world," said Drake Certivo, Inc.
president Jamie Graham.
"The joint creation of this new testing standard will dramatically
enhance IT productivity, and will promote global standardization within multiple industries," said
Graham.
Certivo also plans to offer education and related consulting services for supply chain and
solution provider companies.
These value added services will help reduce the cost and time required
for companies to implement RosettaNet standards and accelerate the creation of trading partner
networks.
Drake Certivo will provide baseline support for the RosettaNet Ready Self-Test Kit, in
addition to administering the software compliance testing.
The kit is a new testing tool designed to emulate a partner exchange
employing RosettaNet standards, enabling companies to effectively test their solutions before
beginning the compliance testing through Drake Certivo.
Once a test has been successfully completed, RosettaNet will issue the
software compliance badge.
