QPR Software Joins RosettaNet Solution Provider Board

RosettaNet Leverages QPR Software Tools to Enhance E-Business Standards Development for the Global High Technology Supply Chain

For Release December 19, 2001

Helsinki, Finland --

The SP Board’s charter is to drive critical development and implementation strategies and initiatives supporting robust collaboration among global electronics companies through the development and promotion of RosettaNet e-business process standards. QPR is committed to supporting the consortium’s objectives by delivering service offerings that facilitate the implementation of RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes™ (PIPs®).

To date, many supply chain companies are leveraging QPR’s software products to improve their overall business processes. “We are happy to assist in the acceleration of RosettaNet implementation projects with our QPR ProcessGuide for RosettaNet,” said Jouko Pelkonen, Founder and CEO of QPR Software. "We believe that RosettaNet will be regarded as the de facto standard by supply chain companies worldwide.”

"RosettaNet’s industry initiatives and programs are easily understood through the use of   graphical models that effectively illustrate RosettaNet standards processes," said Jennifer Hamilton, CEO of RosettaNet.   "Available solutions, such as QPR ProcessGuide for RosettaNet, support the consortium’s ability to depict how critical e-business processes and scenarios in the high technology supply chain interrelate.   The end result is an improved understanding of the benefits associated with RosettaNet, and thus, widespread adoption and a move toward rapid production implementation across the global trading network .

QPR ProcessGuide for RosettaNet helps companies to improve their current business operations through improved process management. The results are communicated to employees, business associates and implementation partners as easy-to-understand scenarios.   As an added benefit, the product helps in implementing changes to business processes, organizational structures and IT systems. As an example, RosettaNet is employing QPR’s methodology and tools to enhance its internal standards development process.
