SeeBeyond Continues to Play Leadership Role in Advancement of Interoperability

Leading Integration Vendor Among First to Participate in RosettaNet Ready Program to Help Ensure Readiness and Compliance with Consortium Standards

SeeBeyond (Nasdaq:SBYN), the leading global provider of eBI solutions, today announced its support for the new RosettaNet Ready™ Program to further ease the development of interoperability services using RosettaNet-based solutions. The RosettaNet Ready Program is designed to help solution providers like SeeBeyond ensure readiness and compliance with consortium standards in order to provide customers with more streamlined trading partner networks.

As the demand for rapidly deployable exchanges and collaboration networks grows, industry-wide, open eBusiness process standards are becoming more critical to their success. By gaining access to RosettaNet's newly released software tools and services, SeeBeyond will remain at the forefront of developing interoperability services. Using RosettaNet trading partner networks, customers will see development cost reduction and decreased deployment time.

RosettaNet is an independent, self-funded, non-profit consortium dedicated to the collaborative development and rapid deployment of open Internet-based business standards that align processes within the global high-technology trading network. The RosettaNet Ready Program provides software vendors two subscription-based offerings, available on the organization's Web site: the "Developer Tools Library", available now, and the "RosettaNet Ready Software Compliance Badges", which will be available in Q4 2001. The Developer Tools Library gives vendors access to the RosettaNet Ready Self-Test Kit Source Code application and other tools designed to assist in the future development of RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) compliant software products and trading partner readiness testing. The RosettaNet Ready Software Compliance Badge is a testing service including a self-test tool and compliance test scripts.
